Dog Park

I support a designated all-season fenced-in city dog park. I would like to see it in an area where dogs have restricted access to a body of water, be it a riverfront or Lake Superior.

Dark Sky

I support a #DarkSkyPark in the city. Marquette should open an area on the west side of Presque Isle from April to October, 24 hours a day. The horseshoe drive passed the band shell would be chained off at 11:00 p.m. All lights at the pavilion would be turned off.

There is no cost to the taxpayer. This deserves an up or down vote by Commission. With random overnight patrols and closures during extreme weather, this has my support. My safety and vandalism concerns were alleviated during the trial period. I’m in.
